Yoav Gilat

The Hummingbird | CEO / Founder | Yoav Gilat

Yoav launched Cannonball Wines with 20 + years of diverse experience in consumer goods & beverages. Born and raised in Israel, Yoav moved to the UK in 1994 & studied Law at University of Kent. Following graduation, Yoav practiced law for three years before moving on to Tymco Beer Ltd., where he managed business development for brands including; Red Bull, Corona, Beringer, Masi, Fonseca, Planeta & others. Yoav then pursued his MBA at Columbia Business School & Haas School of Business/Berkeley & further deepened his industry experience by providing strategy & marketing services to Constellation with their brands; Blackstone Winery & The Campari Group – SKYY Vodka. Today, Yoav oversees all day-to-day operations as well as the company’s distributor & international sales networks in over 60 markets. True to the Cannonball spirit, Yoav is a professional scuba diver & Cabernet is his “go-to” varietal.

Ondine Chattan

The Water Goddess | Head Winemaker | Ondine Chattan

Ondine is a passionate Sonoma County winemaker with experience ranging from cult boutique producers to notable household name brands. Her love of the diversity of Sonoma and California at large fuels her enthusiasm for making a range of varietals from Sauvignon Blanc to Cabernet. Ondine takes a hands-on, multidisciplinary approach to winemaking- a credit to her years spent earning a Master’s of Science in Enology from Fresno State and a Bachelor of Science from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo. Read more about Ondine here.

Lawrence Seeff

The Batsman | Chairman | Lawrence Seeff

Lawrence holds 20+ years of experience leading privately held, billion-dollar firms in the global real estate & financial sectors. He is a tremendous asset in advising both business & financial affairs for the Company. Lawrence always aspires to the highest level of achievement; he was a former South African first-class cricketer & has climbed 5 of the 7 world’s highest peaks. Naturally Pinotage, the signature grape of South Africa, is Lawrence’s favorite.

Kelley Deal

The One and Only | Director of Marketing | Kelley Deal

Kelley brings 20+ years of diversified wine industry experience to the Team. She began her career at De Loach Vineyards, where she acquired 7 years of sales & marketing experience. Kelley spent the next 13 years in key marketing roles throughout the industry: online with wine.com, print & media at Wine Country Living Magazine & consulting for digital wine marketing company, Vintank. Food, wine & a good laugh are some of Kelley’s favorite things & it is a rare moment that she would pass on a glass of chilled Sauvignon Blanc!

Jennifer McKeough

Snow White | Vice President of Sales | Jennifer McKeough

Jennifer brings 25+ years of diverse wine experience to our Team. Her unique breadth of experience covers all facets of the industry! She launched her career on the wholesale side with Young’s Market Co. in CA. Following Young’s, Jennifer began honing her skills on the supplier side with Trinchero Family Estates & then Constellation. She was then recruited by HEB grocery stores in TX for the role of Retail Wine Buyer. After two years at HEB, the supplier side came calling again & in the years that followed she held Executive sales & management roles within several high profile wine companies; Banfi Vintners, Palm Bay, Fetzer, & most recently with Folio as their Director of National Accounts. Jennifer is a Certified Specialist of Wine (CSW) & continues her study of wine – which is as much her hobby as her career. Cooking for family & friends, traveling the globe & drinking a great glass(or two) of red wine, makes Jennifer a happy lady!

Gil Watkins

Yoda | Director of Sales | Western U.S. | Gil Watkins

Gil brings 25+ years to the sales force. He established himself as one of the most successful wine sales professionals in California while representing top producers such as: Ridge, ZD, Bonny Doon, Graham’s Port & Stag’s Leap Wine Cellars. Gil brings a wealth of experience, key trade contacts & invaluable insights to our team; he is a vital component in driving sales & channel relationships. Playing music with the Watkins Band & a glass of Pinot Noir make Gil a happy man!

Lynn Mahlebjian

The Queen | Director of Sales | Northeastern U.S. | Lynn Mahlebjian

Lynn came to the Team from Purple Wine Company, where she managed the Mid-Atlantic region for 7 years. Prior to Purple Wine Co., Lynn made a significant mark within industry leaders with her roles at Constellation, Trinchero, Benziger & Gallo. Lynn has a Culinary Arts/Food Service Management degree from Johnson & Wales University in Providence, RI, a great asset in developing her strong foothold in the on-premise world. She loves cooking, traveling & theater arts, both as a patron & a performer. Lynn loves all wines but has a great passion for Sauvignon Blanc!

Chantal Landreville

The Cosmo | Canada/Int’l Sales Director | Chantal Landreville

Chantal brings with her 10 + years of successfully driving sales for some of the most prominent brands in the wine industry. Her years at Treasury Wine Estates & Wagner Family of Wines confirmed her ability to deliver results by building and leading peak performance sales teams. Originally based out of Montreal, Chantal got her start with LCC/Clos des Vignes Wine & Spirits, where she honed her skills & established strong industry alliances. With an affinity for travel, a love of tennis & the joy of friendships, it is a rare moment that doesn’t find Chantal with a big smile on her face & a big bold glass of red wine in her hand!

Barbara Jurbala

Queen of the South | Director of Sales | Southwestern U.S. | Barbara Jurbala

Barbara joined the Team with 28 years of beverage sales & management experience. Born & raised in Texas, Barbara launched her career on the wholesaler side, specializing in on-premise with wines at Quality Beverage & then spirits at Glazer’s. After 5 years on the wholesale side she joined Brown Forman to manage their on-premise wine & spirits business in the Houston market. After 10 successful years with Brown Forman, Barbara went to Ste. Michelle Wine Estates as On-premise Market Manager specializing in Regional account programs. After 9 years, Barbara moved on to Transcendent Wines as Region Sales Manager for TX/LA/OK managing company owned & agency brands in multiple distributors. Her favorite wines are Red Blends, & diving, boating, & all things around the water are her happy place!

 Josh Brett

The Navigator | Director of Sales | Southeastern U.S. | Josh Brett

Josh brings over 20 years of experience across the Southeastern US. After paying dues in the Restaurant Industry, Josh spent 6 years with Georgia Crown Distributing in the Atlanta area, focused in the On Premise arena. He was then recruited to join Beam Wine Estates, where he excelled in a hybrid Sales & Finance Role covering 12 states. Josh then spent 5 years with the Michael David Winery, covering Florida to Maryland to Texas. Prior to joining our Team, Josh was part of the Transcendent Fine Wine Division of Delicato (formerly V2 Wine Group), winning both the Founder’s Award and Sales Person of the Year Award. Josh enjoys visiting vineyards around the world, learning more about our industry and sampling site-specific wines, regardless of varietal. Josh is also a fan of the Atlanta Braves and Falcons, enjoys various types of music, and attempts (poorly) to play guitar and his go – to wines are a sparkling Rosé or traditional Red Blend.

Lynne Chao

The Colonel | Production Manager | Lynne Chao

Lynne came to the Team with 35+ years of impressive production & lab experience from wineries of all sizes; Far Niente, Cameron Hughes, Golden State Vintners & Rack & Riddle. Lynn enjoys foraging for wild mushrooms & her favorite wine is a skin fermented Gewürztraminer or Riesling.

The Fixer | Operations Manager | Megan Holst

Megan came to Share a Splash Wine Co. from California’s Central Coast, where she spent the last 6 years working for Sextant Wines in Edna Valley & Paso Robles. Her interest in the wine business began when she was as a teenager…when she would spend time driving family around wine tasting in the Paso Robles area. Realizing that wine makes for a good time, it seemed a natural fit to attend Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo where she gained a degree in Wine & Viticulture with a concentration in Wine Business. Megan loves baking, watching the sun set over the ocean, & will never turn down a glass of Syrah!

Peter Parker | Trade Marketing Manager | Mike Giese

Mike joins the Share a Splash team from San Luis Obispo, CA where he stayed after graduating with a degree in Agricultural Business from Cal Poly. Mike has over 14 years of diverse industry experience under his belt, his past roles have included Hospitality and Tasting Room Management with JUSTIN Vineyards & Winery in Paso Robles and Tolosa Winery in Edna Valley, as well as Marketing and Brand Management with Hope Family Wines. Most recently Mike has been consulting with wineries and a distillery on the Central Coast. A lover of the outdoors, you can find Mike running or riding his mountain bike on local trails, or camping with his wife and two children. Mike loves to cook and kick back by a campfire with a nice, chilled glass of Provençal Rosé (or Burgundy, or New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc or Cabernet…or any wine for that matter).

Captain Marvel | Marketing Coordinator | Michaela Butler

After graduating from Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo with a degree in Wine in Viticulture, Michaela began her career in the cellars & vineyards of Duckhorn Wine Company as an Estate Viticultural Technician. Michaela then moved from Napa to San Jose after getting married. Wanting to stay in the industry she loved, she joined team SHARE A SPLASH & had the chance to combine her two passions: people & wine! She also relishes a strong cup of coffee, steep hiking trails & new baking challenges. Michaela is also always sure to have a bottle or two of a crisp New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc or any variety of dry bubbles stashed somewhere in her house.

Michelle DeJesus

Lady of the Ledgers | Senior Accountant | Michelle De Jesus

Michelle is an Accounting Specialist who joined our team with over 10 years of hands-on experience & extensive knowledge of accounting principles, processes & software systems. She has worked closely with CPA’s since she was a teenager & earned an allowance by shadowing and assisting her grandfather who ran and operated a family-owned business right out of his garage. She eventually joined forces with two CPA firms where she refined her skills & grew her appreciation for the world of finance. Following that experience, Michelle honed her skills in a wide range of industries such as; real estate, education, legal, structural engineering & most recently construction, & she is excited to add the wine industry to this list! Michelle loves the outdoors, BBQ’s by any body of water, road trips to Tahoe, music & food festivals. Her favorite wine is A&C Rosé!

Thing One | National Accounts (co-Founder / Brand Evolution) | Rob Garafalo

Rob brings 20+ years of experience in adult beverage across the beer, wine & spirit categories. He started his career in field marketing & distributor management before specializing in the chains. Working with companies like Diageo, Terlato Wines & Palm Bay International, Rob has managed national teams in the on-premise & retail segments from coast to coast. Using his experience working with small & large wholesalers, Rob applies better connectivity & clear communication creating a more nimble & seamless way of working. In his time away from the business, Rob loves to spend time with his family, travel, golf, & snowboard. His happy place is an  après ski with a glass full of Burgundy!

Thing Two | National Accounts (co-Founder / Brand Evolution) | Brian Rieke

Brian brings a tremendous amount of national sales & management experience with both distributor (18 years with RNDC) & supplier (4.5 years with Francis Ford Coppola Winery). Brian held strategic national account positions with both companies (RNDC – Safeway Corporate National Account Manager & Corporate Vice President National Accounts & FFCW – Director of National Accounts & Senior Director of Retail Strategy). Brian enjoys hanging with his family, cheering on his kids at sporting events, fishing, & country music. When relaxing, he thoroughly enjoys a large glass of Cabernet.
