The 2016 vintage was an unusually mild year. Grape sugars were reading high early in the season, but high acidity levels required additional hang time. Our patience was rewarded with a perfectly balanced Sauvignon with great complexity and finesse. The juice is stainless steel fermented at cool temperatures to preserve the natural fruit flavors and acidity.

Our fruit is sourced from Tzabaco Rancho Vineyards in Dry Creek Valley and the Bennett Valley Vineyard, just east of Santa Rosa in Sonoma County.

This wine shows aromas of melon, honeysuckle, jasmine and hints of white pepper. Vibrant and fresh with mouth-watering flavors and bright acidity. The flavors show delicate stone fruit, green apple, light pear and minerals. This vintage has unusually great texture that weaves harmoniously into the wine and continues into the long finish.
